Our offer for travel agencies

Granted tours:
Daily at 3 pm and at 4 pm. These tours are especially for individual tourists. The tours may be deleted due to rehearsals or special events organised in the Opera House, please call us before the tour for confirmation!

Reserved tours for groups:
For groups above 10 persons we offer tours with prior reservation throughout the day, usually between 9 am and 5 pm in accordance with rehearsals and performances in the Opera House.

Course of reservation for groups:

  • First please call our office to determine the day and time of the visit.

  • After the oral agreement, please send us a fax, as official reservation, stating the day and time of the visit, the number of visitors, the language of the tour, the mode of payment and the extras if there are any. Our fax number: 00-36-1-302-64-81.
  • We send you a written confirmation about the acceptance of the group.

    Please send us your reservation at least 3 days before the visit! If there are any changes, please send a fax and call us immediately.

    Languages:
    The Opera House can be visited only with a local guide. We offer tours in 6 languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Hungarian. Tours take appr. 45-50 minutes. In case neither of the above languages is appropriate for the group, any of the languages can be chosen and interpreted by your guide or ask for our special offer.

    Ticket prices:

  • Adults: 1500 HUF/person
  • Students (with International Student Card,ISIC): 600 HUF/person

    25 % VAT and guided tour included. Free for children under the age of 6.
    If there are less than 10 persons in a group and you still would like to have an own guide, the cost of the tour is the price of 10 tickets (15.000 HUF).

    Reduction:
    We offer commission for our partners - according to prior agreement - from the prices of tickets.

    Payment:
    Payment is to be made in cash before the tour in our office. For partners with regular groups, payment is possible also by transfer of money. If money is not transferred in time, further visits can be paid only in cash. Please state the mode of payment in your reservation fax.

    Deadline for cancellation:
    If the group cancels the visit, please inform us at the latest the day before the visit till 5 pm.
